Floyd Roberts, 79, of Everett, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021.
He was born on July 7, 1942; the son of the late Hilary and Ruth (Howsare) Roberts.
On August 31, 1967, he married the love of his life Ruthanna (Kagarise) Roberts, who after almost 51 years of marriage preceded him in death on August 20, 2018.

Floyd faithfully attended Bell Seventh Day Baptist Church of Salemville. Floyd also participated in activities at the Everett Senior Center. Throughout his lifetime, Floyd was a long-standing member of the Everett Fire Company. He fought many fires day or night, participated in numerous community events, did up plenty of peppers, onions and hamburgers at carnivals and was even known to help other fire companies at their events as well. Floyd was part of the Everett Christmas Light Committee spending countless hours checking bulbs and getting lights ready for Christmas. He helped as a lineman at football games and as a safety guard at Halloween. Floyd was a man you could count on to always give a hand whether it was at the Foodliner for more than fifty-five years or out in the community. He was loved by friends and family alike and will be missed by all.
In keeping with Floyd's wishes in addition to Covid-19, the family has chosen a private service.
Anyone wanting to honor Floyd may do so by making a donation to the Everett Fire Co. or Everett Senior Center.
Burial will be held privately Bennett Cemetery, Artemas.
