James C. Abraham, 76, of Kansas City, Missouri, died on January 2, 2017. He was the son of James H. and Margaret (née Lee) Abraham. He was raised in Noel, Missouri, and graduated from Noel High School in 1958. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Hawaii from 1960 to 1962. In 1964, he joined the Kansas City Fire Department as a firefighter and rose through the ranks to become a Battalion Chief, retiring in 2008. James is survived by his wife, two sons, brother, two sisters, and three grandchildren. The funeral was held at 10:30 a.m. on January 10, 2017 at McGilley and Sheil Funeral Home in Kansas City, Missouri.
