Louise David, 79, of Springfield died at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007, at St. John's Hospice.

She was born March 26, 1928, in Greenview, the daughter of John T. and Stella Cutright Bradley. She married Joseph David on April 6, 1947; he died March 30, 1988.

Surviving are her son, Joseph (Nancy) David of Sharpsburg; two daughters, Donna Chase of Springfield and Suzanne (Michael) Fowler of Springfield; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; brother, Donald Bradley of Pennsylvania; and sister, Mary Leach of Nebraska.

Services Dec. 20, 2007, at Living Faith Baptist Church in Sherman, with the Rev. Mark Emerson officiating. Burial in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
