Charles "Chuck" David Jenkins, age 81 of Mattoon, IL left this life to join the Lord's Kingdom at 12:50 PM, Friday, December 10, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

A graveside service in his honor will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Dodge Grove Cemetery in Mattoon, IL. Pastor Brad Brown will officiate. Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, located at 1200 Wabash Avenue, Mattoon, IL is in charge of services.

Chuck was born on August 10, 1940, in Mattoon, IL the son of James Delbert and Edna Mae (Tanner) Jenkins. He had many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, sons, and daughters. He was preceded in death by his parents and some of his siblings.

Chuck loved riding and working on motorcycles, fishing, and cooking. He was known as a rebel by his many friends and family. He was also known as a jack of all trades and master of none.
