Marilyn had lived in Buffalo for the past twelve years coming from Texas City, Texas. She was a member of the Buffalo EE Club, the Prime-Time Book Club, and the Red Hat Society. She also enjoyed birdwatching, nature drives, travel and playing cards with friends and family.
Surviving family includes husband, Harlan Brown of Buffalo; sons, Scott (Kim) Foster of Danbury and Kevin (Stacey) Foster of Sargent; step-son, Mike (Elaine) Brown of Santa Fe, NM; step-daughter, Jana Green of Santa Fe; brother, Lamon Richard Meador of Leona; grandchildren, Chelsea (James) McLure of Angleton and Kristen Foster of Friendswood; step-grandchildren, Emily Brown (Chris Ellison) of New Jersey, Madeline Brown of California and Jason Blackwell; great-grandchildren, Evelynn McLure and Jameson McLure and step-great-grandchildren, Richard, Brandon and Ila Jane.
In lieu of flowers, Marilyn's family kindly request that memorial donations be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or Hospice Foundation of America.
A gathering of friends and family will be held Monday, December, 2021, from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. at Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.
