She was preceded by a son: David N. Lawrence; a daughter: Teloa R. Lawrence; an infant granddaughter: Melinda Lawrence; and a sister: Joan Perkins.
Jackie was a 1955 graduate of Thornville High School, Ohio. She was a member of the Altoona Apostolic Church.
She retired from Lily Pond Day Care in Altoona, where she enjoyed taking care of and making meals for infants and young children. Jackie also took pride in working for the Blair County Big Brothers & Big Sisters program.
Jackie enjoyed reading, completing crossword puzzles and word searches, and greatly loved and cared for her family. Above all else, God was first in her life.
Friends will be received from 12 p.m. noon to 1 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2021, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
