Jean I. Winters of Phililpsburg passed away on Dec. 14 at Clearfield Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Edna (Guthrie) Stonebraker and the wife of the late Donald R. Winters.

She was United Methodist by faith, and was retired from the Harbor Inn in Philipsburg. She was a homemaker and graduated from the former Philipsburg High School, class of 1943.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Leora Willis, Madeline Mayhew, Ethel Scott and Lois Beals, and brothers Clair and Kenneth Stonebraker.

She is survived by five grandsons, Doug, Dan, Andrew, Scott and Jeff Winters and six great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by daughter Kathy Welch and her husband Lem of Houtzdale; sons Donald R. Winters and his wife Kathy of State College and Capt. George D. Winters and his wife Winifred of Osceola Mills; and sister June Rusnak of Philipsburg.

Services will be Dec. 19 at 11 a.m. at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills. Officiating will be the Rev. Thomas A. McCoy. Burial will be at the IOOF Cemetery in Brisbin. Visitation will be Dec. 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
