LAWS, MARGARET SUE DENTON, age 84, a resident of The Village at Cook Springs Nursing Home, and formerly of Montgomery, died Friday, December 5, 2003. Mrs. Laws was a retired school teacher who taught for many years in the Montgomery Public School System. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Montgomery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Patrick Denton, Sr. and Beulah Chitwood Denton; her brother, James Patrick Denton, Jr.; and her beloved husband, Lionel Mayman "Larry" Laws.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Laws Farris, son-in-law, Wayne A. Farris, and granddaughter Emily Farris.

A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Glenwood Cemetery in Fort Payne, Alabama with Wilson Funeral Home directing.
