Son of John William Rickman Sr, & Nancy Whitaker, 1st marriage Naomi C Reed 24 Jun 1850, 2nd marriage Laura Bailey 20 Dec 1876. Joshua was a farmer, carpenter and bridge builder. Joshua & Naomi had six children. While living in Sullivan County Missouri. Naomi passed away, then Joshua went to Blackburn, Arkansas and lived there until his death October 3, 1903.
