Mrs. Bailey moved to the Panhandle in 1921. She had been a resident of Miami, Texas since 1955. Mrs. Bailey was a member of the United Methodist Church in MIami, Texas.
Survived by two daughters - Mrs. Luzelle Cordell and Mrs. Virginia Foreman Springer; two sons - Luke Bailey and Grady Bailey; two sisters - Mrs. Ella Gilmore and Mrs. Fannie Daves; two brothers - Dan Chick and Virgil Chick; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
