"Mrs. Daisy M. Bishop, 76, southwest Kansas City, died Tuesday at Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Miami, Mo., and had lived in this area 59 years. Mrs. Bishop was an autoclave technician for Jenson-Salsbery Laboratories for 36 years and retired in 1975. She leaves two sons, Randall Kalinka and Jack Kalinka, and two daughters, Mrs. Wanda Hamilton and Mrs. Shirley Mills, all of Kansas City; a sister, Mrs. Lura Dickson of Marshall, Mo.; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Newcomer's Floral Hills Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery." The Kansas City Star, June 5, 1986
