"Henry Grady Isaac, 76, Slater, Mo., died Wednesday at the Odd Fellows hospital, Liberty. He was a lifelong Slater resident. He was a retired blacksmith. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bessie Isaac of the home; two sons, Everett J. Isaac of 811 Russell road and Kenneth F. Isaac of 2505 Arlington, Independence; two daughters, Mrs. Vivian Fox of 1105 East Forty-fourth, and Mrs. Ethel Velten of Slater; a brother, Carl Isaac of Marshall, Mo.; six sisters, Mrs. Lura Rudd of Marshall, Mrs. Pauline Jett of Jefferson City, Mrs. Daisy Bishop of 1201 East Thirty-fourth, Mrs. Delia Hassett of 913 East Thirty-third, Mrs. Ruth Barnes of Ottumwa, Ia., and Mrs. Catherine Waters of Shafter, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday at the Braun chapel, Slater; burial in Sunset Cemetery, Marshall." The Kansas City Times, February 16, 1968
