Born in Shenandoah, Ohio on January 8, 1930 the daughter of Raymond C. and Vergie Mae (Fiddler) Racer she was a Richland and Ashland County resident all of her life. Where she had been employed in the Cafeteria at Crestview School
Virginia was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Ashland. She also enjoyed making quilts, needle work, square dancing and attending the Ashland County Fair. She also enjoyed watching all of her grandchildren play sports.
On April 15, 1947 she was married to Norman W. White who precedes her in death.
Virginia is survived by three children; Ronald W. White (Janet Ivey) of Texas, Laura L. Maurer of Mansfield and Debra (Thomas) Vermillion of Ashland. Seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and one brother Robert Racer also survive.
In addition to her husband Norman, she is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Angla Stentz, two great grandchildren and one son in law.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday September 10, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Heyl Funeral Home with Pastor Laura White officiating.
