Betty Marshall, 94, of Vinton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
She was born in Roanoke County, the daughter of the late William and Lera Lakes.
Her beloved husband of 70 years preceded her in death by 30 days, Lawrence Julian Marshall.
Left to cherish her memories are her son, Steven Lawrence Marshall (Darlene); granddaughter, Jayne Marshall Richlak (Michael); grandson, Owen Lawrence Marshall; great-granddaughter, Maeve Harper Richlak; and her church family and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, December 6, 2021, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. Dr. Chris Monroe will officiate and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Her family will receive friends for one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers please consider memorials to Vinton Baptist Church.
