Sandra "Sandy" Kay Rowe, 76, of Ironton, OH passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Ironton, OH. Sandy was born August 17, 1945 in Logan, WV, a daughter of the late Sherner and Bertha McCloud Dingess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Misty Malone; and 8 siblings, Thelma Ruth Dingess, Geneva Argibrite, Olive Bias, Reford Dingess Sr., Sylvester Dingess, Ruby Gilmour, Luta Dingess and Creta Gilpin. Sandy retired as a Case Manager from WV Job and Family Services and a member of The Raceland Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Bernard "Squint" Rowe; 3 children, Trenda Vaughn, Tammie Hall both of Ironton, OH and Bill Rowe of Hawaii; one sister, Ernestine Bojaski; one brother, Ralph Dingess; four grandchildren, Toni Christian, Jason Rowe, Matthew Rowe and William Rowe; 4 great grandchildren, Kaleb Scott, Katilyn Scott, Jason "JP" Rowe and Chaz "CJ" Christian; 4 great-great grandchildren, Landon Rowe, Kyzlee Cremeans, Mazelee Cremeans and Aspynn Scott; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 12 PM, Monday, December 6, 2021 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastor Jason Lyons officiating. Burial will follow at Hecla Cemetery, Ironton, OH.
