Born december 2, 1916 in Woodland he was the son of Angser and Martha (Mason) Swanson.
Mr Swanson was formerly employed a a custodian at the Clearfield Courthouse as a young man he worked at teh clay mine in Mineral Springs and later the railroad.
He was a Methodist by faith and a beteran of the U.S army having served during the World War II
On June 12 1937 he married Vada E. wisor who preceded him in Death on April 18,1994 he is survived by 5 sons 18 grandchilren 1 step granddaughter, 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and his wife he is preceded in deathe by a daughter Susan Swanson a brother and sister Fred and Anna.
