Carroll Floyd "Bill" Rock, 68, of Enterprise, died Sunday, February 10, 1980, in Topeka, Kansas. He was born September 5, 1911, in Alma, Kansas. He lived in Salina prior to moving to Enterprise.

Bill was a crane operator in Abilene until he became disabled in 1972. He has been living in a nursing center for three years.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Salina, the Dickinson County Sheriff's Posse and the Sand Springs Saddle Club.

Surviving are his wife, Bertha Anna "Bert" (Nelson), of the home; daughter, Barbara Rock; and his adopted son (actually his grandson, son of Eileen), Kevin, all of rural Enterprise; daughter, Clair "Eileen" Lowe, in CA; two sisters, Oletha Farrar and Taleda Rock, both of Salina; two brothers, Leland, of Salina, and Virgil, of Houston, TX, and four grandchildren.
