Barbara "Barb" Read Peters "MomMom", 81, of Clearfield, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on Nov. 25, 2021 in her home with her family by her side.

Barb was born on Oct. 19, 1940 to the late Adam and Elva (Caldwell) Boyle. She was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School and went on to earn her degree in medical terminology from the DuBois Business College. Barb was married to Gerald "Mannie" Read of Curwensville in 1961 and until his untimely death in 1980. She was then married to Edward Peters until 2008.

Barb held a strong faith in God, which she shared with all. She had an abundant love for her family and close friends, spending many hours playing games and telling stories with laughter and love by all.

In addition to her parents and husband, Barb was predeceased by two brothers, Roy Boyle Sr. and James Boyle Sr.; a sister, Lorraine (Boyle) Thurston; and a grandson, David Witherow.

Barb is survived by her three daughters, Debra (Read) Swatsworth and husband Richard, Diane (Read) Stewart, and Sharon (Read) Hallstrom and companion John Rossetti III; four grandchildren, Barbie (Swatsworth) Taylor, Dean Swatsworth and wife Jessica, Douglas Swatsworth and wife Melissa, and Adam Stewart; seven great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Maylee Taylor, Dean Jr., Luke, Jake and Savy Swatsworth, and Martina Swatsworth; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Nan Auber; as well as several life long and close friends.

A memorial service will be arranged at a later date as per Barb's wishes. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to any of the following organizations: Allegheny Spay and Neuter Clinic, American Diabetes Associations, or Clearfield County Cancer Support Inc.

Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Inc., 11269 Perry Highway, Wexford, is in charge of arrangements.
