William J. Bedinger, the son of Joseph and Lola (Dalton) Bedinger, was born in Kentland, Indiana on December 5, 1932 and passed away in Grand Island, Nebraska on November 22, 2021 at the age of 88.
Bill grew up in Kentland, Indiana. After graduating from high school, Bill served in the U.S. Air Force. He was honorably discharged on June 26, 1964 after serving almost four years.
Bill was united in marriage to Marian Ericksen on May 27, 1956 at Hampton. While raising their three daughters, Bill worked at Ericksen Sales and Service, Osceola Implement and Supply and CF Industries, where he retired in 2011. Marian and Bill celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 27, 2006. Marian passed away on September 25, 2006.
Bill was married to Emma Burnison Auch on October 16, 2010. Emma passed away on April 24, 2020.
Bill was a member of the Hampton United Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; both wives, Marian and Emma; brother, Fred Bedinger; brother-in-law, Mario Vergas; sister-in-law, Nell Ericksen; son-in-law, Dennis Farver and grandson, John Farver.
Those left to cherish his memory are his three daughters, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Bill was cremated. Inurnment will be in the Imanuel Cemetery at a later date.
