Barb was born to the late Harvey and Fairy (Pitken) Homan on December 16, 1931, in Mancelona, Michigan.
She married Rolland F. "John" Ball on July 18, 1948, in Mancelona. They were married for 62 years. He preceded her in passing on March 29, 2010.
Barb loved to feed the squirrels and the birds in her backyard. She was a lifetime member of the VFW auxiliary, a member of the People's Church. Barb was a nurse aide at Kalkaska Memorial Medical Center, she later was a bus driver for TBA. She made quilts for all the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Barb especially loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by her 5 children, 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Barb was preceded in passing by her son, John Ball; a granddaughter, Crystal Groleau, and a son-in-law, Duane Campbell; two brothers, and one sister.
Interment will take place in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
