Dallas O'Neal Ammons
of West Memphis, AR
June 2, 1935 - November 23, 2021

Dallas O'Neal Ammons passed away at his home in West Memphis, Arkansas on November 23, 2021 with his family by his side at the age of 86. He was born to parents Finnas and Ida Mae Ammons in Prescott, Arkansas on June 2, 1935.

Later in life Dallas met and fell in love with his wife Jeanette. The two were able to raise and nurture their own family for the next 53 years before God called Jeanette home in December of 2013. Dallas was a long-time member of the Marion Church of God. He was a truck driver by trade but loved to work on small engines. He was quick witted and enjoyed being both an agitator and a prankster. Dallas enjoyed the outdoors in all ways and could often be found camping with Jeanette. He enjoyed cooking but he enjoyed hearing from others just how good his cooking really was. He would almost always be seen wearing his overalls, even at the beach.

Dallas is survived by his two sons; Marshall Ammons and Robert Ammons (Dena) of Marion, Arkansas as well as his daughter Nina Beeler of Marion, Arkansas. He also leaves his brother Charles Lloyd Ammons of Mulberry, Florida. He will be deeply missed by three grandchildren: Chad Beeler, Matthew Beeler and Travis Ammons as well as his two great grandchildren; Adrian Beeler and little baby girl Amelya who is yet to be born, but he already knew her. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jeanette and his son Robert O'Neal Ammons.
