Bobby C. Petrey, 71, of Highway 6, Woodbine, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, November 22, 2021 at his home. Bobby was born on January 5, 1950 in Corbin, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Petrey and stepmother, Jean Petrey; his wife, Charlene Petrey; son, Darrell Walker and brothers, Howard and David Petrey.
He is survived by three children, Angela Petrey (Ian Pitts) of Woodbine, William Petrey of Woodbine and Deddie Quillen (Patrick) of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts; ten grandchildren, Brandi Walker, Seth Eversole, Kyla Pitts, Brody Sulfridge, Olivia Turner, Jayden Petrey, Trinity Petrey, Owen Quillen, Cormac Quillen and Finian Quillen; five great grandchildren, Ariel Castle, Nova Castle, Asher Campbell, Chandler Eversole and Rosalie Jewel; his mother, Evelyn Colinger of Corbin; special friend, Debbie Petrey of Woodbine; special nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Croley Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Decker officiating. Following the Service he will be laid to rest in the Petrey Family Cemetery on Highway 6 in Woodbine. Military Graveside Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #88 of Corbin, Kentucky.
