Mary Frances Fowler, 87, of Fieldale, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Martinsville on September 2, 1934, to the late Roy Stoneman and the late Ruth Waller Stoneman.
She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Omer Fred Fowler; daughters, Darlene and Rose Mary; 5 brothers and sisters, Myrtle Seagrove, Freida Smith, Gene Stoneman, Bobby Stoneman, and Homer Stoneman; 2 grandchildren, Angelia and Scott Colston.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Roy Fowler (Bambi) and Michael Fowler (Gloria) daughter, Kathy Colston (Gene); brother, JT Stoneman (Shirlene); grandchildren, Kelli Fowler (Cheryl). Dennise Colston, Michael Fowler (Katie) and JR Fowler (Tonya); great-grandchildren, Emma Warren, Salem Fowler, Jasmine Fowler, Helena Utter, Gavin Osbourne, and Madison Osbourne; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 26, 2021, from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Blackberry Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Evans officiating.
