He was born on May 20, 1947, in Carnegie, Oklahoma, the son of Clayton and Irene Johnson. Frank was an Eagle Scout while attending Carnegie High School. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1971 to 1974. After serving his term in the military, Frank became an auto mechanic, where he worked at various dealerships and eventually opened his auto mechanic shop. Frank was a member of the Oklahoma Outsiders Motorcycle Club for ten years. Frank's aka "Stumpy" love for riding wasn't just a hobby; it was his passion and way of life. Frank was blessed and was able to buy his dream bike, 2003 Harley Davidson Softail. He met many friends and cherished memories along the open road.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Freddie.
