She was born October 15, 1946 in Japton, Arkansas, he daughter of Claud and Leola May (Bayley) Edens.
Sherry was a member of Sonora Baptist Church.
She helped start and retired from The Bank of Fayetteville.
Sherry enjoyed sewing and volunteering at church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, James Douglas Edens and Harold Daniel Edens.
She is survived by her husband, James Dillard of Fayetteville; two sons, Brandon Dillard (and wife, Gina) of Lowell and Ray Hobbs (and wife, Maura) of Gulf Breeze, Florida; a daughter, Sheila Elkins of Little Rock; a sister, Carol Watkins (and husband, Loy) of Witter; and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Beard's Chapel.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 22, 2021 at Beard's Chapel with Reverand Danny Williams officiating.
Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
