Born on Monday, Died on Wednesday. Aged 71 years, 11 months, 20 days. Patricia F. Shockley, 71, of Springdale died Wednesday (Oct. 24, 2001) at her home. Born Nov. 4, 1929, in Milltown, she lived in Springdale the past 52 years. Mrs. Shockley was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Springdale. Survivors include her husband, Eugene T. Shockley; three sons, Randy Shockley and Greg Shockley, both of Springdale, and Lon Shockley of Templeton; a daughter, Lorna Sovel of Springdale; seven grandchildren; six great-grand-children; two brothers, Edward Troutman of Penn Hills and James Troutman of Florida; and a sister, Shirley Troutman of Buffalo Township. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Callie Kiser Troutman; two brothers, Clair and Glenn Troutman; and four sisters, Goldie Watson, Beulah Helwig, Marion Gillespie and Thelma Troutman. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in Sringdale at the Charles B. Jarvie Funeral Home, 801 Pittsburgh St., where services are set for 10 a.m. Friday. Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Gary Koch. Burial will follow in Springdale Cemetery. (Tribune-Review, Pittsburgh, PA)
