Born July 20, 1933 in Morris, she was the daughter of Clarence and Edna (Severson) Dix. She was raised in rural Newark by Fred and Lila Dix. She graduated from Newark High School with the class of 1951. Delores married Willis Johnson on May 12, 1956 at the West Lisbon Church. They lived all of their married life in Lisbon. For several years she was employed as secretary at Lisbon Grade School and then at Country Companies in Yorkville.
She is survived by her 3 children, eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren who brought her much joy; two sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death, were her parents; her loving husband, Willis; one granddaughter, Victoria Rose; one brother, Donald Dix and two sisters, Mary Frederick and Ruth Lambros.
She was a lifelong member of West Lisbon Church.
Delores and her husband Willis were their grandchildren's number one fans.
