Cheryl Ann Robinson, 64, passed away November 12, 2021 in Great Falls, Mt. A celebration honoring her life will be held at a later date.

Cheryl was born in Reno, Nevada, August 4, 1957 to William and Shirley Robinson. She had 2 sisters and 2 brothers of whom she ran herd on as children. Cheryl was the boss in her parents' absence at home while growing up and her siblings knew it. She and her siblings came to

Montana from California early in life but Montana was to remain her home until her death. After graduating from Cut Bank High School in 1976 Cheryl became a nurse's aide. In 1978 she moved to Havre with her sister Debbie and worked at Northern Montana Hospital as a ward clerk. In 1981 Cheryl married and soon after she became the mother of two, Andrea and Jonathan.

In the early 90s after her divorce Cheryl pursued a new career in banking and eventually worked her way up to branch manager at First Liberty Credit Union in Cut Bank. She loved working at 1st Liberty and she enjoyed the connection she had with her employees and members. Cheryl always had an immense amount of respect for others and it was obvious that this was mutual at the credit union.

For approximately 15 years Cheryl managed First Liberty Credit Union but due to health issues she had to resign. Her new life revolved around her children and eventually her granddaughter Emberleigh. She loved spending time with "baby" and the glow on her face when she spoke of her was undeniable. Cheryl also had a passion for cooking and if you were lucky enough to receive a hot dish or plate of her wares you would agree she was a fantastic cook. She loved sharing the bounty she created in the kitchen with others; especially those in need. Many times Cheryl would take huge portions of food and distribute them to those in need. It bothered her immensely to know someone was hungry or going without.

In 2018 after living in Missoula and Great Falls for several years Cheryl returned to Cut Bank. She had a beautiful home and continued pursuing her passions of cooking, crocheting, and sewing. She rescued two more cats, Evelyn and Mr. Bibs who joined Madison who was 23 when Cheryl passed. She was content and satisfied with her life and looking forward to "sitting on the porch in her rocking chair" in her golden years.

Cheryl is survived by her daughter Andrea (Dustin) Bruyer and granddaughter Emberleigh, son Jonathan Graves, Sisters Mary Cooper, Deborah (Kelvin) Hansen, brothers Bill Robinson and Richard Robinson and several loving friends.

Cheryl was preceded by her father William and mother Shirley.

I would just like to thank all of Cheryl's friends and family for the incredible amount of support she received while she battled this illness and in her passing. My sister was an amazing woman. I looked up to her more than anyone I have ever known. She stepped up to the plate even when she was in terrible pain or battling issues of her own that would dissuade most anyone.
Cheryl loved her life, her home, her job, and her community in Cut Bank. She loved cooking and baking and sharing the bounty! She had impeccable skills in many areas such as crocheting and sewing.
The love my sister had for her granddaughter was like no other. Not a conversation went by without an in depth discussion of her love and adoration for this precious baby girl.
Her 3 cats are left behind without her constant care and doting. Madison is 23 years old and we will take care of her until she passes. Cheryl hovered over her and protected her like a child. I am hoping someone will help us find homes for the other two kitties. (Please message me if interested.)
My sister was there for me whenever I needed her. She thought the world of me and told me often she loved me. However she was fierce. I called her a warrior and indeed she was a warrior in life and as she fought off death. I cannot and will not ever be able to express how devastating Cheryl's loss is to me, her children and grandchild.
Thank you everyone for anything and everything you have done for us!
