Donald S. Cathcart

FORT PIERCE, Fla. -Donald Shelby Cathcart, 81, of Fort Pierce, Fla., died Sunday, Aug. 23,1998.

He was born in Faunce and formerly from Albion.

Mr. Cathcart was a member of the Community United Methodist Church of Fort Pierce, past member Covenant Lodge No. 453, Cambridge Springs; Albion Lions Club, Citizen of the Year-1972, and also King Lion past president.

He retired as district manager of Pennsylvania Electric Co. at Albion after 33 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Cathcart of Fort Pierce, Fla.; a daughter, Karen Cathcart of Fort Pierce; a son, Eugene Cathcart of Indiana; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a sister, Elaine Yucha of Cambridge Springs; and a brother, James Cathcart of Springfield, Ill.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Treasure Coast, PO Box 1748, Fort Pierce, Fla. 34954-1748.

Yates Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, Fla., is in charge of the arrangements.
