Sarah Lee Hale, 47, of Bloomington, passed away Wednesday evening, Dec. 12 at the Geisinger Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Born Nov. 12, 1960 in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the daughter of Edward and Gertrude Mabel (Scholl) Goetchius. Mrs. Hale had been employed as a dispatcher for Peerless Trucking of Clearfield, she was Christian, and was a member of Curwensville L.O.O.M. Lodge #268.
On Dec. 12, 1996 in Curwensville, she wed James P. Hale who survives along with 2 children Sarah Louise Bloom and Russell Edward Bloom both of Clearfield, a granddaughter Kiara Bloom, and 2 sisters. Sandra and husband Roger Bloom of Boardman and Shelly Marshall and her companion Terry Welder of Curwensville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services for Mrs. Hale will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 2:30 p.m., with the Reverend Stephen Shields officiating.
Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville, PA
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Dec. 14 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday from 12:00 Noon until time of services.
The family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
