Graveside services for Naomi Ruth Austin, 86, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Joe E. Jones Chapel at Childress Cemetery with Terry Williams officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home.

She passed away November 10, 2021 in Childress.

She was born June 13, 1935 in Shamrock to James Franklin Isaacs and Annie Merle Isaacs. She was a dietician.

She married Carlos Jerry Austin January 11, 1953. She enjoyed her family and having them come visit. She enjoyed going to the casino and loved to work in her flower beds. She also loved to sew and crochet.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Mary Austin Mew and two sisters, Charlotte Bergvall and Ethel Jean Mullins.

Survivors include a son, Jimmy Austin of Childress; a daughter, Linda R. Austin of Wellington; three brothers, Hanes Isaacs of California, David Isaacs of Houston and Harvey Isaacs of Arkansas; and a sister, Donna Maxwell of Wellington.
