Kevin Ray James, 57 of Nevada, died Monday, November 8, 2021, at his home.

Kevin was born July 11, 1964, in Knoxville, Iowa the son of Marion Lee and Carolyn Mae (Barber) James. He was united in marriage to Connie Christensen on July 7, 2007, in Nevada and had worked the last 20 years for Burke in Nevada as a forklift operator.

Kevin enjoyed NASCAR, watching his Green Bay Packers, river fishing and camping. He also liked to grill out, smoke meat and spend time with his husky, Cooper. Kevin especially loved to ride his Harley and be with his grandchildren. He was the life of the party and had a heart of gold.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Connie; his daughters: Amber Eldridge, Crystal Fischels (Jake Jilk), Alicia (John) Williams and Leah (Kaelen) Randall; his sister, Tonya James and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ferlin James.

A visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2021, at Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Pkwy) in Nevada. A gathering after the visitation will be held at the Score Pavilion (1543 Fawcett Pkwy) in Nevada.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of Kevin.
