Dona Marie Bell, 93, of Washington, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at UnityPoint Health – Proctor in Peoria. Dona was born on February 28, 1928 in Butler, PA, the daughter of Roy and Lydia (Bachman) Taylor.

Surviving are one daughter, Barbara Scheppele of Peoria; three grandchildren, Michael (Heidi) Scheppele of Hemet, CA, Melissa (Rick) Reeves of Huffman, TX, and Laura Bell of Texas; four great-grandchildren, Zach Zielde, Kaden Zielde, and Bristol Reeves all of Texas and Alexander Scheppele of Hemet, CA; one step-granddaughter, Angelica Ginesi Huff of Hemet, CA; one sister, Elizabeth Bennett (late Joseph Bennett) of Idaho; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard Bell; twin sister, Doris Berchtold (late Robert Berchtold); sister, Kathleen Marshall (late Paul Marshall); and brother, Richard Taylor (late Dixie Taylor).

Dona was a member of the First English Lutheran Church where she was a Sunday School teacher. She was a member of the Altar Guild, Grace Circle and Young at Heart.

Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
