Warren R. Schneider, age 84, of Shelby, died Sunday night, November 7, 2021 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.

Warren was born September 20, 1937 in Woodsfield, Ohio to the late Homer and Nellie (Craig) Schneider. He was a 1955 graduate of Shelby High School and also attended Mansfield Masonry School. Warren was an employee of Shelby Business Forms, retiring under the UFORMA ownership, and had also worked for Stine Masonry.

Warren is survived by his wife of nearly 66 years, Florence (Whisler) Schneider, whom he wed on December 27, 1955. Together, they enjoyed everything they could with their family. They loved family get-togethers, sharing special time with their grandchildren, whether that be showing animals at the fair or watching their sporting events, and numerous vacations to Florida over the years. Breakfast meals were a weekly highlight on the agenda with friends at McDonald's or Ted & Ali's and also class luncheon get togethers monthly. Warren also enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and keeping his yard mowed to perfection.



In addition to his wife, Florence, Warren is survived by his 3 children: Sheree Lynn Trimmer of Willard, Janet Kay (Jeffery) Adams of Shelby, and Steven Ray (Lori) Schneider of Shelby; 5 grandchildren: Shelly (Derek) Axline, Tiffany (Aaron) Fry, Tracy (Nick) Smith, Taylor Schneider, and Brandon Schneider; great grandchildren: Addyson Riley, Brady, Bailey, and Ben Axline, Gage Sherck and Cole and Ella Smith; and sister-in-law: Nancy Schneider. Warren was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter: Debra Ann Schneider; siblings: Eugene (Lois) Schneider, George Schneider, and Kathryn (Charles) Lockwood.



Family and friends are welcome on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 4-7 pm at the Penwell Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. Funeral mass will be on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10:30 am at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, where Warren was a member. Fr. Chris Mileski will officiate with burial following in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
