Surviving are his wife, Nancy Schneider; children, Cathy (Keith) Armour, Roger (Lydia) Schneider, Lynn (Greg) Evans, Jeremy Schneider, Darrell (Lane) Crall, Karen (Rick) Pollack, and Erica Stevens; grandchildren, Zachary and Harrison Armour, Heather (Spencer) Shireman, Brad (Morgan) Schneider, Bo and Chase Evans, Megan Schneider, Sarah Caroline and Davis Crall, Nicole and Rouie Pollack, Jeff Boyd, and Julia and Joel Massie; great-grandchild, Jack Shireman; brother, Warren (Florence) Schneider; sister, Kathryn Lockwood; and his beloved "grandchildren", Kelsey and Nick.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Nellie (Craig) Schneider; brother, Eugene Schneider; and brother-in-law, Chuck Lockwood.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 3-6:30 p.m. at Church of the Cross, 236 Otterbein Drive, Lexington. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Church of the Cross Youth Group, mailed directly to the church, or to MedCentral Delay the Disease, in care of Nancy Schneider, 1758 Mitchner Road, Shelby, OH 44875. These contributions will be given directly to the Parkinson's therapy program that George enjoyed so much.
