Mr. Ripberger was retired from Naval Avionics Center Engineering Technician Department 900 in Indianapolis. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and Loyal Order of Moose.
Surviving are two sons, David M. and Patrick A. Ripberger, both of Tipton; two brothers Raymond Ripberger of Tipton and Richard Ripberger of Sharpsville; three sisters, Madonna Myers, Rosemary Comer and Betty Hawkins, all of Tipton; and two grandsons. A brother preceded him in death.
Services will be at 11 am Saturday at St. John’s Catholic Church. The Reverend Fred Gschwind will officiate. Friends mat call from 2 to 9 pm. Friday at Young Nichols Funeral Home where the rosary will begin at 8 pm.
