Son of August & Margaret (Griess) Grosshans.
Married to Gweneth Carnes on 5-6-1926 at Stockham, NE.
He owned and managed Grosshans Sales & Service for 51 years, in Stockham and Aurora. He was past vice-president of the Nebraska Impliment Dealer's Association, and was country chairman for CROP for many years. He was also active in the Plainsman Museum.
He was a charter member of the Aurora Industrial Development Corporation, was an advisory member of the Milford Trade School Board of Directors, longtime member of the Nebraska New Car & Truck Dealers for over 50 years, past member of the Aurora School Board, member of the University of Nebraska Touchdown Club, and charter member of the Husker Power Club, and the oldest retired fireman in Aurora.
