Our sweet, kind dad, grandpa and great-grandpa, 94, of Orem, passed peacefully, November 1, 2021, in Spring Gardens care center. He was born January 3, 1927, in Alpine, Utah to Lloyd Schow Miller and Lessie Devey. He married Carol Dawn Warnick on June 24, 1948, in the Salt Lake Temple.

He was the epitome of a family man. He could be found driving all over Utah County delivering birthday cards, filled with money for one and all. As a younger man, he spent many Sunday nights pulling taffy to the delight of his children.

As a newlywed, he was an adept builder. He built the home which he and his family lived in before moving to Orem, several years later. After his retirement from Geneva Steel accounting, he loved bottling fresh peaches each year.

Also, throughout his young life he was an avid pheasant hunter. And throughout his entire life he was a true-blue BYU sports fan.

He was a Mount Timpanogos Temple worker, and a dedicated ward and membership clerk. He held his membership position well into his 80's.

He is survived by his children: Sharon (Alan) Banks, Mark (Nancy) Miller, And Jann Bankhead.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11:00 am in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East in Pleasant Grove, Utah where family and friends may attend a viewing from 9:30 - 10:45 am prior to the services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery with military honors provided by the American Legion Post 72. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
