Larry Marvin Miller peacefully returned to his heavenly home June 11, 2017 from Parkinson's Disease. He touched so many lives in his eighty-three years.

He was born March 29, 1934 to Lloyd Schow Miller and Lessie Devey in Alpine.

He married the love of his life, Nadine Royle, on June 29, 1953 (later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple). Together, they had four children.

He graduated from BYU in education, and worked for the Granite School District as a teacher and counselor for over thirty years. He also enjoyed many other work interests to support his family.

He had a real passion for the beauty of nature and loved sharing it with his posterity. He had a fabulous sense of humor and loved to laugh, especially at his own jokes. His other passion was all things BYU! Go Cougars! He was a true gentleman and treated his wife like a queen.

He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints his entire life. He served a mission with his eternal companion in the Quezon City Philippines from 2000-2001. Upon their return, they served as ordinance workers in the Salt Lake Temple for many years.

His legacy of kindness, love, generosity, work ethic, sense of humor, passion for life, and his love for his wife will live on in his posterity.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Nadine; daughters, ReNae (Gary) Orton, Maureen (Douglas) Martindale, and Michelle (Rick) Campagna; brother, Glenn Eldon Miller; twenty grandchildren; fifty-three great-grandchildren (soon to be fifty-four); and many nephews and nieces, whom he adored. Preceded in death by his parents and son, Don Royle Miller.

A viewing for family and friends will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the River Ridge Third Ward Chapel, 1244 West Chavez Drive (9700 South), South Jordan, with a viewing prior to the services from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
