Helen C. Zeleske, 87, of W6262 Willow Lawn Road, Fond du Lac, passed away on March 25, 2005, at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home.
She was born on July 19, 1917, in Wausau, a daughter to the late Frank and Mary Husting Schlaefer.
On June 5, 1952, she married Albert G. Zeleske at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lomira.
Helen graduated from Lomira High School and attended Business College in Fond du Lac. She worked for Burke Company and John L. Fox Insurance before her marriage. She was a homemaker, financial manager for the family farm, and in 1967 to 1971, was the bookkeeper for Schreiner's Restaurant.
She was a member of Daughters of Isabella, Parish Women's Organization, and Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart.
Survivors include her husband, one daughter, Mary (Donald) Gorske of Fond du Lac; three sons, John Zeleske of Waupun, and Daniel (Darcy) Zeleske and Bill (Lynda) Zeleske, both of Fond du Lac; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Agnes Schlaefer of Fond du Lac; one brother, Joseph (Florence) Schlaefer of Chilton; brother-in-law, Robert Schueler of Winneconne; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Rita; and one step-grandson, Derek Hernandez.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon o on Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church. The Rev. Patrick Heppe will preside. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation: Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of services at noon on Wednesday, March 30, 2005, also at Sacred Heart Church.
