WANDA MAXINE ALLEN
September 4, 1942 ~ November 4, 2021 (age 79)

Wanda Maxine Allen, 79 of the Harris Community, passed away November 4, 2021 at her home.

She was born September 4, 1942 at Coalgate, Oklahoma, the daughter of Granvill and Oleana Hampton Murphy.

She was a graduate of Idabel High School and a member of the Church of Christ at Haworth. She married Harlan Allen on August 23, 1980.

Maxine was very family oriented and loved to have visits and gatherings with her family and friends. She enjoyed dancing with her husband and going to the casino. She was also an antique collector.

Maxine is survived by her husband of forty-one years, Harlan Allen; son and daughter-in-law, O.C. and Shelly Laney of Alabama; daughters, Cecelia Foster of Kansas, step-children, Tony Billy of Harris, Gene Allen of Idabel, Junior Allen of Idabel and LaDonna Hard of Florida; step-brother, Don Murphy of California; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lee and sister, Zelda.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Church of Christ at Haworth, Oklahoma with Aubrey Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Harris Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Haworth Church of Christ in memory of Maxine.

The family would like to extend a special 'Thank You' to Mays Hospice nurses and staff and the medical equipment technicians for all their special care during their time of need.
