Lee Elvis Murphy, age 81, a Centrahoma resident. He was born on July 31, 1939, to Granville Lee and Elna Olena (Hampton) Murphy, at Olney, OK. Lee passed away on June 18, 2021 at Centrahoma, OK.
He graduated from Old Central High School in Tulsa, OK. He attended Spartan Aeronautical Engineer School in Tulsa, OK.
Lee worked as a mechanic for the railroad.
He was a Marine.
Lee married Eileen Pierce on January 2, 1971 in Idabel, OK. She preceded him in death on October 28, 2019. He was a Southern Baptist. Lee was a Grand Master in the Masonic Lodge. He loved the VFW. Lee enjoyed fishing, dirt track races & being a shade tree mechanic. He loved animals, helping friends with their cattle & drinking coffee.

Daughters: Sonya Johynson & husband Larry of Valrico, FL; Tonya Silfies & husband Dan of Amarillo, TX; Tina Martin of Tulsa, OK; Oleana Murphy of Tulsa, OK;
Grandchildren: Ashley Sauber, Kerri Squires, Garrett Silfies, James Jones, Tata Jones, Derrick Murphy, David Napier III, James Johnson;
3 Great Grandchildren;
Sisters: Carla Sue May & Maxine Allen;
Brothers: Don Murphy & Bill Tollett
Along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & a host of friends.
