Newlywed ~ Amanda Renee (Roman) Rolf, 24, died Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at 9:03 A.M., the result of an automobile accident, while driving home from an early shift at work that morning.

Amanda was the beloved daughter and oldest child of Marc A. and Debora S. (Thomas) Roman.

On September 30, 2006, Mandi married her high school sweetheart, Theodore S. "Ted" Rolf II. Mandi and Ted had only been home nine days from their honeymoon when the car accident occurred.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her parents, her sister Erica, her brother Jonathan, and many other family members and friends; as well as her dogs Rudy, Oscar, and Riley, whom she dearly loved and spoiled.

Mandi graduated from Troy High School in 2000, where she was active in music/choir (she had a beautiful voice and could sing like an angel) theater, color guard, and student tutoring. Her favorite colors were pink, yellow and green; and she loved butterflies and frogs! Her favorite flowers were roses. She enjoyed reading, scrap booking, cooking (creating new recipes for all of us to try) and enjoyed playing board games and cards with her family and friends. She loved animals, especially dogs, and children and they loved her back!

Mandi attended Edison State and Wright State University and wanted to pursue a degree in education and become an elementary school teacher. She was employed by the Bethel School System as the Assistant Director of the schools Latchkey Program. Her "children" at Bethel school loved her immensely and always wanted her to attend their school functions, plays, sports games, etc. Mandi always had the kids special art work that they made for her on her refrigerator and often said that she wanted to have many of her own children someday. She thought "six" was a good number!

Amanda accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour at an early age. She was gifted by God with many talents and had one of the most bubbly and friendliest personalities you would ever meet. Her smile would light up the room when she entered. She had many friends, and once she met you, you were never a stranger to her again. She was a joy and a ray of sunshine in the lives of so many. You will be forever missed our darling "Mandi".

Losing my child is the hardest thing, that this parent will ever bear. The sense of loss and longing, will always linger there. It's only with the Lord above, I make it through each day, remembering the way it was, yet knowing life will never be the same. My child's face, her laugh, her smile, will never be forgotten...my love for her remains, it is never ending and it's constant. ♥~MOM~♥
