John, age 85, a resident of Washington, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at his home surrounded by family.
John was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and going fishing. He built a career as a shop foreman at Louisiana Farm Power for 35 years and could often be found working on his farm equipment. John will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Irma F. Stelly; sons, Kim Stelly and wife, Charlotte of Port Barre, Troy Stelly and wife, Angie of Grand Prairie and Ted Stelly of Washington; daughter, Holly Stelly Guillot and Husband, Gary of Bunkie. 7 grandchildren, Logan (Marcy), Cody (Morgan), Brennan, Rhyan (Lauren), Peyton (Tyler), Kade and Desi; 7 great-grandchildren, Callie, Cy, John-Parker, Harper, Piper, Hadley and Emersyn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold J.W. Stelly and Elda Morain Stelly; and sisters, Elvie "Bea" Ardoin and Estelle "TeNa" Marks.
