Obituary from Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport LA:
On Saturday October 30 the special and wonderful heart that belonged to Christopher Brian Henley stopped beating. He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Henley Jr. and is survived by his mother, Glenda Henley, brother, Edgar Henley III and sisters, Donna Monroe and Cynthia Henley.

Chris cared for everyone he knew and was loved by all that knew him. His life was fought with health issues but he was lovingly cared for by his mother for his entire life. In what some would call a life cut short, God mercifully ended Chris' suffering and brought him home to eternity in heaven. I thank God for the time I had with my little brother and I look forward to the time I will spend with him there. For I know the plans I have for you, " declares the Lord," plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11 "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."

A visitation for Christopher will be held Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Salem Baptist Church, 5187 LA-3276, Stonewall, LA 71078, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM. Christopher will be laid to rest in Forest Park West, 4000 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport, LA.

Matthew 5:4 "We ask for prayer for God's strength and mercy for the family."
