Maryanne B. Fisher, 86, of Temperance, Michigan, Born to eternal life on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at St. Anne Mercy Hospital. She was born January 9, 1935, in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harold Richard Holt and the step daughter of the late Albert Lynell Hughes and her mother Elizabeth Mae (Tunison) Hughes. She married John Fisher on March 20th of 1976. He preceded her in death on January 2, 2016. Maryann was an active member at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance, where she served as a Eucharist Minister and worked the funeral luncheons. She was a hostess for several years at McDonald's on Alexis Rd. in Sylvania, Ohio. Maryanne loved the outdoors, enjoying working with her flowers and feeding the birds and squirrels.
Maryanne is survived by her loving children, Belinda (Donald) Burgbacher, Diane (Deacon Anthony) Pistilli, Thomas (Pamela) Munson, Jeff (Nancy) Fisher and Lisa (Greg) Martin; daughter-in-law, Petra Munson; 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Steve and Chris Munson and her two half brothers Terry A. Hughes and Levern W. Hughes and a half sister, Roberta Mae Hughes.
Visitation will be from 4-8 pm, Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 8330 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery.
