She worked for Armstrong Plumbing, Fort Dodge Messenger, Trinity Hospital and then after 1982 she helped her Daughter, Joyce, in her business – Kinda-Nice Gifts and Antiques in Badger, Iowa. She was a beautiful seamstress and made clothes for the porcelain dolls that were made at Kinda-Nice. She also was a very accomplished china painter. Her life was centered around her family, her church, her friends and her many hobbies. In the 25 plus years that she came to Kinda-Nice on a daily basis, she never failed to bring along a Bible verse for the day. She also was an accomplished poet. Writing many poems and giving them to those she loved. She will be dearly missed by all whose path she crossed.

Location: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. (Is this the correct cemetery where she is laid to rest?)
