Roberts Ray "Bobby" Sampson, 74, of Johnson City, TN, passed away on September 2, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC.

Robert was born on August 1, 1947 in Wise, Virginia, the son of John Patton Sampson and Lula Mae Herron.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Louise Guynes and Shirley McMahan, and five brothers, A.G. Sampson, John Sampson, Jr., Garnie Sampson, Howard Sampson, Sr., and Sammy Sampson.

Survivors include two children, Robert Sampson Jr., and Melanie Sampson.
