Charles Clark St. John, 55 year old mechanic at the Oak Ridge Atomic Plant, died suddenly of an apparent heart attack, Friday in Oak Ridge Hospital. He was a native of Coffee County and a member of the Church of Christ. Funeral services were held Monday in Morrison Church of Christ with Lynwood Mathis officiating. Burial followed in the Morrison Cemetery. A son of Joseph Abner St. John and Alcie Jane Wood St. John he was married to the former Lila Jarrell who survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Sharlie Sue Rein of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; one son, Thomas J. St. John of Memphis, Tenn.; four sisters, Mrs. Tom Brown of Wartrace; Mrs. Sally Ramsey of Manchester; Mrs. Mamie Webb and Mrs. Roy Newby, both of McMinnville; two brothers, Robert St. John and Goodloe St. John both of McMinnville. Also surviving is one grandchild. High Funeral Home Inc., was in charge of arrangements.
