Margaret J. Wright of Seaford passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Seaford Center in Seaford, Delaware. She was 99.
She was born on June 21, 1922 in Federalsburg, Maryland, the daughter of the late William and Mary Bramble.
After graduating from Federalsburg High School she married Earl Hoffman. He preceded her in death in 1975. She was married to Randall Williams. He preceded her in death. She was married to Ellsworth Wright. He preceded her in death.
Her passion for cooking and good company led her path to become the owner and operator of "Margaret's Restaurant" in the heart of Hurlock for many years. She loved cooking and offered exceptional food to her friends and customers. Her specialty was her homemade pies. In her free time, Margaret enjoyed sewing and quilting. Her family have many samples of her quality handiwork that will be forever treasured.
A love that has spanned five generations, she was known as Mom, Mom-Mom and "Triple M" to her great and great-great grandchildren. She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two children: Margaret Head and her husband Tom of Seaford; James Hoffman and his wife Lori of Orlando, FL; six grandchildren: Tracy Thacker-Grove and her husband Randy of Seaford, Trisha Vasquez of Seaford, Nadine Sanchez of Orlando, FL, Jamie Hoffman and his wife Jennifer of Federalsburg, Dana Quintin of Laurel, DE and Samantha Ward and her husband Jason of Seaford; great grandchildren: Ashley, Tori, Courtney, Josh, Jordan, Alana, Sierra, Nathan, Alison, Mindy and Jimmy; great-great grandchildren: Alexis, Derek, Kelsey, Maverick, Piper, Alyse, Jase, Logan, Landon and Jaxson.
In addition to her parents, and her husbands, she was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter: Erica Luff and three siblings: Calvin Bramble, Vinton Bramble and Ruby Murphy.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 1:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Thomas Clagg officiating. Burial will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00.
